We’re hiring!
People’s Software is a new startup that builds local messaging and scheduling tools on a wide range of platforms. The company is brand-new and has seed financing; we spent the summer at TechStars and are looking for smart programmers who want to work on interesting problems.
We’re looking for a developer to add to the team. Previous team members have fit the following description well–
* Python + Django hacker or Ruby/Rails
* Experience with PostgreSQL
* Very comfortable with JavaScript
* Scaling a distributed web application
* Uncovering relevance from large data sets
* Contribute to product and market direction
* Interested in clever, yet usable apps
Interest in iphone and in structured data a plus….
** Also looking for part-time interns and jr programmers to work on PSCO part time, if you exist, let us know; students totally welcomed.
Company is based in the SF Bay area; will consider remote work for some projects, but strong plus for being within 2 hours (plane trip is okay) of the office, so we can actually meet with you. And local, yeah, that rocks.
