Wanna see an anvil get launched into the air with explosives? You’re in luck. I just happened to visit Jamestown, CO, (pop. 205), where they celebrate each Independence Day with music, a barbecue, games, and….hourly anvil launches, one of which I filmed for you below.
Jamestown is 15 miles north and west of Boulder in the Flatiron Range of the Rocky Mountains. I highly recommend a visit.
